Introduction to the Walther PDP PRO NTThe Walther PDP Full Size Pro NT with new optics mounting platform. The new PDP PRO NT model has all the features and innovations that the shooting community has loved and appreciated about the Walther PDP models right from the start. In addition, they include a range of premium upgrades straight from the factory:
Ergonomic design for optimum handlingThe pistol impresses with its striking appearance. Deep through-loading grooves can be found on both the front and rear of the slide. This makes the loading process safe in all weather conditions. The completely redesigned grip has a pyramid-shaped texture (Performance Duty Texture) and contributes to the outstanding handling. The backs of the grips, available in different sizes (S, M, L), also have this texture. Not too sharp to hurt or 'tear' clothing at high series, but aggressive enough to achieve perfect grip at all times. The curved shape at the end of the grip provides support for the little finger and helps with intuitive reading.
Versatile optics mounting and adaptabilityAll models in the PDP series have an ambidextrous bolt catch lever, a reversible magazine release button and come Optics Ready with a milled-out slide top for various - optionally available - adapter plates for red dot sights from Docter, Noblex, Meopta, Trijicon, Holosun, Riton, Axion, Leupold, SIG Sauer, Vortex or Burris Fast Fire series.\The new optics mounting platform is characterized by the modified cut-out for the mounting plate. This is 2 mm longer than before and thus enables the mounting of all current red dot sights. The new equipment also includes recoil studs and larger screw cut-outs. This makes it possible to use the original mounting screws of the optics manufacturer for mounting.
Traditional aiming with modern features
Those who want to aim in the 'classic' way using rear and front sights can do so using the sights compatible with GLOCK. Co-witness sights are possible. The standard sights are adjustable in elevation and windage. Further practical accessories can be attached to the Picatinny rail.
Superior trigger mechanism for precise shooting
The Dynamic Performance trigger breaks at the pressure point like glass with a trigger pull weight of 22 N. The short reset allows consistent top performance from shot to shot. Both together create the prerequisites for controlled aiming and safe trigger control in every situation and from shot to shot.
Optimal balance and pointing behavior
The result of the perfected grip angle and the interplay of overall weight, weight distribution and balance is the excellent pointing behavior. The gun intuitively follows the line of sight of the target. The stepped chamber ensures significantly better lubrication and therefore less fouling of the polygon barrel.
