The pistol is operated intuitively.  Optics Ready Every PDP is made for red dot sights. When inserted deep into the slide, the PDP's excellent sighting characteristics can be fully utilized. The simultaneous use of co-witness sights is possible. This means that the illuminated dot of the optical sight can be picked up quickly and unconsciously. Thanks to the special design of the breech piece, Red Dots can be integrated almost seamlessly. What's more, the special shape at the end of the grip gives the little finger a firm hold and supports the instinctive reading of the weapon like an invisible control. Modularity The PDP is the most modular and versatile pistol that Walther has ever built: Picatinny rail, optics ready, laterally interchangeable magazine holder, three barrel lengths and two grip lengths, each with three back inserts. This means it is ideally prepared for every operational use. The open sights of the PDP use standard mating dimensions.
