Product information 'Harris bipod series 1A2 model BR - 1A2-BR'
The original Harris bipod from the 1A2 series model BR has legs with quick height adjustment. The height of each leg is locked by means of a push button, allowing the legs to be adjusted to compensate for uneven ground. The legs are 150 mm long when retracted and 230 mm when extended. The construction is very robust with a weight of only 335g.
The Harris bipod allows the shooter to aim at the target without having to hold the majority of the weight of the weapon, as this is supported by the Harris bipod. With the Harris bipod you have the advantage that the weapon can be set up stably on almost any surface and the shooter's movements (breathing, shivering in cold weather, etc.) are no longer transferred to the weapon to such an extent or that the shooter can remain in the firing position for longer and thus improve his point of impact. For decades, Harris bipods have been the best in the world - often copied, but never equaled!
