The Ragnar Hose is made from 96% nylon and 4% spandex, making the fabric flexible and snug. The pants have no membrane, but they do have a DWR treatment (DWR stands for Durable Water Repellent). The fabric is therefore dirt- and water-repellent: water beads on the surface of the pants and runs off or evaporates, rather than soaking into the fabric. The pants feature vent zips on the back of the thighs and on the calves, and the vents are equipped with a mesh to prevent leaves and other debris from entering. The Ragnar Hose has two front pockets. The pants also have two thigh pockets with zippers to prevent items from falling out during high activity. The right thigh pocket also includes a cartridge holder for four rounds. The Ragnar Hose is reinforced at the ankles with a particularly durable material and can be adjusted with a band with snap buttons to ensure a snug fit at the ankles. Other features include adjustable straps in the knee area and a D-ring on the left waistband for attaching various gear.
