The Ragnar pants are made from 96% nylon and 4% spandex, giving the fabric flexibility and a comfortable fit. The pants have no membrane, but they have been treated with a DWR (Durable Water Repellent) coating. The fabric is dirt- and water-repellent: water beads on the surface and rolls off or evaporates, rather than soaking into the fabric. The pants feature ventilation zippers on the back of the thighs and on the calves, and the ventilation openings are fitted with a mesh to prevent leaves and other debris from entering. The Ragnar pants have two front pockets. They also have two zippered thigh pockets to keep items from falling out during high activity. The right thigh pocket is also equipped with a four-round cartridge holder. The Ragnar pants are reinforced at the ankles with a particularly durable material and can be adjusted with a strap and snap buttons to ensure a snug fit at the ankles. Other features include adjustable straps at the knee area and a D-ring on the left waistband for attaching various equipment.
