The Ragnar Hose is made of 96% nylon and 4% spandex, which makes the fabric flexible and snug. The Hose has no membrane, but it has been treated with a DWR coating (DWR stands for Durable Water Repellent). The fabric is thus dirt- and water-repellent: Water beads on the surface of the Hose and falls to the ground or evaporates, instead of seeping into the fabric. The Hose features ventilation zippers on the back of the thighs and on the calves, and the ventilation openings are equipped with a mesh that prevents leaves and other debris from entering. The Ragnar Hose has two front pockets. The Hose also has two thigh pockets with zippers, so nothing falls out of the pockets during high activity. The right thigh pocket is additionally equipped with a four-round cartridge holder. The Ragnar Hose is reinforced at the ankles with a particularly durable material and can be adjusted with a strap and snap buttons to ensure a snug fit at the ankles. Other features include adjustable straps at the knee bend and a D-ring on the left waistband side for attaching various gear.
