Featherweight 269 Titanium: This silencer is characterized by high sound insulation and low weight. Like all Freyr & Devik silencers, this one has been specially developed for hunting and has a high level of sound insulation, even though it weighs just 269 grams. This low weight ensures excellent handling.
Material:
Grade 5 titanium is used on the housing and in the core of the silencer chamber, where the temperature can exceed the melting point of aluminum. The strength and temperature resistance is crucial for a lightweight, robust and durable silencer. Freyr & Devik use high-strength aerospace aluminum for the parts that are less exposed to heat, such as the housing and front baffles.
Design:
The silencers are in the classic streamlined Freyr & Devik design. The tapered shape is also optimized for strength. It also allows the silencer to glide more smoothly through denser vegetation. The raised muzzle reduces water ingress when hunting in the rain. All Freyr & Devik silencers can be easily opened without the use of tools. This simplifies maintenance, cleaning and drying after hunting in the rain.
