For over 120 years, the cutlery manufacturer Due Cigni ('The Two Swans') from Maniago in northern Italy has been producing high-quality kitchen knives by hand. The traditional Italian knife manufacturer Due Cigni was taken over a few years ago by the well-known Fox Knives group, which is also based in Maniago. Fox uses its experience and contacts from the sports and outdoor knife sector and transfers its know-how to the new subsidiary. The drop-forged and ice-hardened blades of the Florenz series are made of high-quality molybdenum vanadium alloyed X50CrMoV15 stainless steel and are elaborately machined in many steps and honed by hand.
