Rifle cleaning rod of the brand Dewey for caliber .20 and .22 lfB Delivery includes a matching .20 caliber brass tip for the use of cotton lobes (patches). Use for .20 caliber: No brush adapter is required when using for .20 caliber. .20 caliber brushes from Dewey have a suitable thread that fits directly into the internal cleaning rod thread! Use for caliber .22 lfB (lr) : If you want to use brushes or brass tips for .22 caliber, you need the adapter 'DM17A' . Note: Even if use for larger calibers is possible by using the 'DM17A' adapter, we only recommend this to a limited extent. This cleaning rod has a maximum outer diameter of only 4 millimeters due to its range of use. The 5/40 internal thread milled into the cleaning rod is therefore very fine. When cleaning larger caliber barrels, higher pressure is often required to push the cotton lobules through the barrel. The manufacturer cannot guarantee that small-caliber cleaning rods will withstand these loads in the long term without damage.
