Otter Bergmann Ebony - tradition with regional history A new take on historical design The Otter Bergmann Ebony is inspired by one of the first knives made by OTTER - the weaver's knife. The fine tip of the carbon blade is reminiscent of its use in the textile and ribbon weaving mills in the Bergisches Land region. A handle with meaning The compact handle made of black ebony stands for the coal of the Ruhr region. The copper bolsters made of fat carbon show patterns reminiscent of coal seams. The knife thus combines history and craftsmanship. Handmade in Solingen This knife is made entirely by hand in Solingen - the famous city of blades in Germany.
