Method 2: With water, No. 16 can quickly be stirred into the salt paste. Per 100 g Salzdepot, 30 ml–35 ml of water are required; for 2 kg Salzdepot, 600 ml–700 ml.
Ideally, the paste is applied to a horizontal or nearly horizontal surface, e.g., on tree stumps or deadwood.
Tip: apply the paste fresh right after mixing. Paste left standing longer can separate and must be thoroughly mixed before application.
Warning: applying to trees can cause bark damage.
