Adapter for gas appliances
Connection to inexpensive gas cartridges
With this adapter, you can connect your gas appliance, which can normally only be operated with gas cartridges with a screw thread, to the inexpensive 227g or 220g MSF-1a cartridges. The adapter has a bayonet connection for the 227g universal cartridge and an external thread on the other side.
Important notes
Upright positioning: When operating with a 227g cartridge, ensure that the cartridge is either upright or, if the gas appliance is to be operated with the horizontal cartridge, that the cartridge is positioned with the black nose facing upwards, as shown in our third picture. The 227g cartridge has a bent dip tube inside. If the cartridge is NOT positioned with the black plastic nose or the groove in the gas cartridge facing upwards, the gas may be extracted as a liquid and not as a gas.
