The Leica Calonox thermal imaging cameras are characterized by outstanding, Leica-typical image quality with particularly detailed graded grey tones, excellent contrast and high detail resolution at all observation distances. The built-in rechargeable battery with a runtime of over 6 hours is particularly well protected against the cold and weather thanks to its position inside the Calonox. Standard power banks can also be connected via a USB-C connection. The unique product design is geared towards the user's hunting needs and integrates perfectly into the hunter's equipment thanks to its cylindrical shape and ease of use. Operation with just three buttons is intuitive, user-friendly and reduced to the essentials. This model has a powerful 42 mm lens.
The excellent detection range of the observation device is based on a high-end vanadium oxide sensor with 640 x 512 pixels and 12μm pixel size with outstanding temperature resolution. The 2.5x optical base magnification enables a large field of view and is therefore ideal for observations at close range. With digital zoom up to 10x magnification in combination with the outstanding LCOS display with 1280 x 960 pixels and LIO™ image processing, no details remain hidden even at great distances.
