LAHOUX Buzzard

The Buzzard is a thermal imaging attachment for a class C1 drone. The applications are diverse, e.g. security and surveillance, hunting and nature conservation. Searching for wild boars in corn, determining damage in agriculture, rescuing fawns and birds before mowing, industrial inspections, detecting forest fires and much more.
The video transmitter can be operated at 25 to 800 mW, which gives a range of 500 to 3,000 meters, depending on local laws (EU: 25 mW). The Buzzard has a maximum video range of approximately 500 meters. Thermal imaging is performed at a resolution of 320 x 256 px with a 13.8 mm lens. The search area for fawns is 19.4 x 15 meters at a height of 30 meters.
