The GPO (German Precision Optics) TAC™ 1-8x24i offers many sought-after features in a compact and rugged package: massive mil-wheel elevation and side turrets, iControl™ illumination with auto-off function and tactical reticle. These scopes are built on a 34mm center tube that offers an outstanding adjustment range of 291cm at 100 yards and meets virtually all elevation adjustment requirements. Feature for feature, specification for specification, you won't find better optics. The elevation and windage turrets have a locking mechanism to prevent unintentional adjustment during use. The reticle is located in the first image plane. This means that the reticle increases in size when the magnification is changed. The aim was to provide the user with an illuminated dot at 1x magnification and to have a fully-fledged reticle available when magnifying and identifying targets at a greater distance. At 1x magnification, you are automatically guided by the red dot and at high magnification by the circle, the horseshoe reticle. This allows you to cover the range from 5 meters to 800 meters and combine short and medium range with one riflescope.
